GE HVDC is moving towards a digitally integrated way of working, centralisedcentralized around data and technology that connects a variety of systems and stakeholders, with the perspective that all work products (models, designs, documents, diagrams, drawings, etc.) generated during the performance of any HVDC system life cycle activities are represented by underlying sets of data and information.
Data and information in these sets need to be accessible and shared between organisationsorganizations and project management and engineering management tools used within the business organisationorganization and its customers and suppliers. This sharing will help to ensure consistency, correctness, and completeness of work products developed across all HVDC system life cycle stages and support standardisationstandardization and interoperability.
The HVDC Project Manager is accountable for the overall execution and delivery of large-scale HVDC projects within scope, cost, schedule, quality and EHS requirements.
The role involves leading multi-disciplinary, multi-location project teams (Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Construction, Commissioning) across GE's global footprint, and ensuring effective customer, partner and stakeholder management.
The HVDC Project Manager acts as the primary customer interface and is responsible for driving project performance, risk management, financial results, and delivery excellence in alignment with GE Vernova processes.
