As Project Manager Engineering RMR UKI, it is your job to lead and coordinate activities for RMR projects in the UK & Ireland from early involvement to handover. Working on several projects simultaneously and reporting to the Manager Engineering UK & Ireland you will be responsible to achieve the best overall project result for both Vanderlande and the customer, considering planning, quality and costs. You will work in a multidisciplined environment aligning with internal and external stakeholders and functional lead and engineer your own projects. In your position, you are collaborating intensively with Sales Managers, Project Managers, Engineering teams and Service Leads in the UK & Ireland and within the Customer Centre EMEA LATAM. Responsibilities
- Support a safe working environment through encouragement of a safety-first culture and the execution of health and safety analysis and ensuring implementation thereof in the design
- Planning and engineering of RMR projects by being a stakeholder manager and creating and owning the engineering project plan
- Managing the Technical Solution including being responsible for the delivery of (sub-)systems with the right quality by acting as a technical business partner to customers and other external parties
- Support the development of customer life-cycle plans
- Managing the budget of engineering projects proactively by identifying risks and opportunities and evaluating engineering scope and modifications, including an ongoing reporting
- Continuously improving upon own and others project and engineering management processes, including community development and best practices to support better individual and collective engineering project delivery
- Functional and future Line Management of multidiscipline project team to the successful completion of various engineering projects,

Qualifications
- Relevant Degree in mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering
- Appropriate years of experience managing complex airports engineering projects of demanding customers in a dynamic and system-critical environment
- Project Management knowledge combined with proficient expertise within engineering projects, ideally within material handling systems (Electrical/Mechanical/LLC/HLC/Safety)
- Willingness to travel, often up to 25% of your time
