Responsibilities

MARK/BTO is one of the pillars of MARK, combining transversal and business line functions.

Its main responsibilities include steering business development of MARK activities, driving transformation, and overseeing operational chains, financials, and risks.

The role involves leading and supporting transformation, business development, optimization, and regulatory projects for the Global Markets Division, reporting to the division head.

Projects may impact Trading, Sales, or Engineering teams and typically involve front office sponsorship, covering team organization, process optimization, opportunity studies, program management, and information systems changes aligned with senior management strategies.

The candidate will work closely with Front Office, support functions, and control functions such as GBSU, RISQ, DFIN, CPLE, SEGL, DGLE.

Key responsibilities include proposing solutions, monitoring budgets, ensuring timely delivery, and managing risks and dependencies.

Profile required

  1. Strong project management and presentation skills, with ability to understand client needs, scope missions, organize actions, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Working knowledge of financial products and the Sales & Trading environment.
  4. Autonomy in managing missions, knowing when to seek approval or arbitration.
  5. Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize, synthesize, and analyze.
  6. Deliver solutions on time with pragmatic approach.
  7. Enthusiasm for learning new applications, tools, and process improvements.
  8. Proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a can-do approach.
  9. Clear and appropriate reporting to management and stakeholders.
  10. Fluency in English and French.
