Overview

Project Manager position at Babcock in Walsall, West Midlands. Role Type: Full time / Permanent. Location: Walsall, West Midlands. Role ID: SF67415. Onsite at the Walsall site.

Responsibilities
  • Leading complex delivery programmes across multiple business areas, ensuring KPIs and deadlines are met
  • Inspiring and guiding project teams to achieve milestones and deliver high-impact outcomes
  • Owning full project lifecycles, managing multiple major initiatives from initiation to completion
  • Proactively managing risks and issues, driving effective mitigation strategies
  • Shaping and enhancing delivery practices, tools, and partnerships to strengthen organisational capability

This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at Walsall.

Essential experience
  • Exceptional planning, coordination, and organisational abilities to manage complex initiatives with precision
  • Proven leadership, diplomacy, and motivational skills, with the ability to influence across all levels and functions
  • Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 for effective project scheduling and control
Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 5 qualification under the National Qualification Framework (e.g. Foundation Degree, Level 5 NVQ, or HND), or equivalent relevant experience
  • Certified in a recognised project management methodology
