Overview

We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) at West Berkshire Hospital. This is a capital build project with NHS compliance requirements, ideally modular construction. You'll oversee the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction through to handover and go-live.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, programming, and delivery from start to finish.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, RAMS, and ITPs.
  • Champion Health & Safety and ensure HTM/HBN and CDM 2015 compliance.
  • Coordinate with NHS teams, consultants, and local authorities.
  • Support procurement and contract administration with the commercial team.
  • Provide regular progress reports, maintain risk registers and key documentation.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience delivering healthcare/public sector construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HTM/HBN standards and NHS compliance.
  • Confident managing programmes (e.g. MS Project, Asta) and supply chains.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
  • Degree in Construction/Project Management/Engineering.
  • Chartered status or working toward (RICS, CIOB, APM).
  • Modular build and sustainability knowledge.
