We have an exciting opportunity for three experienced and ambitious Project Managers to join our Programme Management Unit.

Role

In this role, you will lead and support a range of key strategic programmes and major projects across the council, providing professional change management, including both programme and project management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support key strategic programmes and major projects across the council, including professional change management and both programme and project management.
  • Monitor and evaluate day-to-day progress of projects, ensuring production of satisfactory documentation; develop implementation and contingency plans, manage project risks; oversee budgets and report project progress including attendance at programme and other appropriate boards.
  • Support major capital infrastructure projects aligned with Renfrewshire's Learning Estate Strategy; experience in developing Business Cases and conducting Investment Appraisals is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of project management with a demonstrable record of achievement, coupled with knowledge of change methodologies; effective written and verbal communication skills, leadership and influencing skills.
  • You will be self-motivated with the ability to work to strict deadlines whilst developing effective working relationships.
  • A degree or other relevant professional qualification or accreditation in Project Management is desirable.
