A local government authority in Harrogate is seeking a Project Manager to join their Transformation Service. Are you a natural planner and organiser who enjoys working with people and driving change? Join North Yorkshire Council's Transformation Service and help deliver high-impact projects.
The role is Hybrid working with a combination of home working together with minimum 2 days per week in an office base at one of our newly formed local transformation hubs at Northallerton, Harrogate, Scarborough and Selby.
The core focus of this job is to manage, with direction, the planning and implementation of designated projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
This will involve working with a wide variety of stakeholders, coordinating project resources through the delivery stages of agreed projects using the council's established project management methodology.
Postholders at the higher level of this career-graded role will take on more complex and/or higher-priority projects and will operate with greater autonomy.
Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this career-graded role offers real development opportunities and the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from social care and housing to HR, finance, and technology.
