Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of multiple concurrent schemes within the Structures portfolio.
  • Produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and implement safety, quality, environmental and programme controls.
  • Maintain close liaison with Network Rail, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

Role Overview

VolkerFitzpatrick offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services. We contribute to vital parts of the nation's life through projects of strategic importance, delivering works required by both private and public sectors. We work on maintaining highways, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings.

We are recruiting for an Experienced Project Manager, ideally with Rail/Civils/Structures experience, to work as part of the Southern Renewals Enterprise. The project will total 5+5 years of multiple individual schemes across Network Rail's Southern Route (Kent, Sussex & Wessex). You will manage the delivery of several concurrent schemes within the Structures portfolio which will include New & Replacement Bridges, Access for All, Structural Refurbishments and Retaining Structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of multiple concurrent schemes within the Structures portfolio.

• Produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work.

• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and implement safety, quality, environmental and programme controls.

• Maintain close liaison with Network Rail, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
