A recruitment consultancy in Glasgow is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate commissioning and programme activities for a major defence/nuclear programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong planning background and experience in large-scale programmes. This hybrid role requires 2 days remote work and 3 days on-site, with the potential for occasional travel. Competitive salary offered for this opportunity.
This role will support both commissioning and programme leadership teams on a major defence/nuclear programme. The role has two main aspects: ensuring both the base and the supply chain can deliver the work, and helping partner organisations to become prepared and organise a large workforce. The second aspect is planning how the organisation will take on full capability once delivered, including bringing together commissioning and testing plans to enable a smooth transition from development to full operational use.
Note: responsibilities are derived from the overview and requirements in the original description.
