Project Manager Central Southampton

A leading company in the professional services sector is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the team due to a phase of strategic transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Manage resources, timelines and deliverables to ensure projects meet agreed objectives
  • Apply Prince2 (or equivalent) methodology and tailor appropriately for projects
  • Ensure adherence to project governance framework
  • Identify and engage stakeholders and prepare and present progress reports internally
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead cross functional project teams
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to improving project management practices
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of managing projects in a professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prince 2 certification or equivalent (e.g APM, PMQ, PMP)
