Qualifications

Essential
  • Degree in a related technical field (environmental / civil engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Existing experience of working in Water or Flood Risk Management in the private or public sector (such as the Environment Agency, Lead Local Flood Authorities, Internal Drainage Boards, Canal & River Trust or Water Companies)
  • Experience of using NEC 3 / NEC 4 ECC contract management (ideally ECC Project Manager Accredited)
  • Able to ensure appropriate stages of projects comply with Management of Contractors Direction. Ensure that all parties are aware of obligations under Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations 2015 Ideally experienced in using either MS Project
  • Proven experience of leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience of developing and managing project budgets and cost plans, reflecting changes in the project
  • Experience of facilitating project meetings, preparing minutes and regular reporting on all aspects of the project including budget, cost, programme and progress, risk registers, safety and quality
  • Able to monitor performance of project suppliers (internal and external) and their compliance with specified requirements and health and safety
  • Experience of stakeholder engagement both internally and externally on projects or responding to customer queries and requests for information
Desirable
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Chartered or working towards chartered status
