Overview

Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a dynamic role within a leading organisation? UK Power Networks is recruiting a permanent Project Manager to join our Major Connections team, based at our London office near Canning Town. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering crucial connections for LPN & Developers, ensuring every project exceeds customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial enquiry to post-investment appraisal.
  • Liaise with delivery partners during design and programme delivery.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management to develop innovative solutions and maintain financial control to meet planned gross margins.
  • Ensure compliance of all projects with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and regulatory requirements, including producing quotations under Licence Conditions (LC12, LC15, LC15a).
  • Engage with customers and government offices to progress strategic developments; negotiate contracts for major construction projects.
  • Communicate effectively across LV, HV and EHV networks.
  • Work with internal teams (marketing, legal and finance) to champion customer satisfaction and deliver outstanding outcomes.
Qualifications
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) or a solid track record in project management of distribution networks.
  • Customer-friendly, can-do attitude; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; willingness to challenge assumptions and work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary of £80,574, plus Inner London Allowance, Car Allowance and a 3% bonus.
