Project Manager

The role of the Project Manager is to be main point of contact for their customers and ensure the efficient and effective management of projects and the team.

This role works Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. We offer competitive rates of pay, company pension, 23 days holiday plus the bank holidays and private healthcare.

In this role we are looking for:

  • An experienced PM to take full project cycle ownership; successful project delivery from point of sales to project role out in operations and the completion of all project elements
  • Overall management of all the projects to ensure the overall projects programmes are completed to the right standards and support the introduction of further future work to the company
  • Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment to demonstrated teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Supporting the department in establishing good practices, templates, tools and partnerships with internal and external customers to grow and develop the opportunities for the company
  • Manage project scope and changes
  • Liaise with customers about current and future projects
  • Organise and conduct meetings on all new projects with department heads to discuss manufacturing materials and methods
  • Manage the organisation and update free issue / bought-in stock
  • Continuously communicate any issues and updates to all the relevant operations team
  • Ensure all projects are successfully completed to agreed targets (time / budget)

Essential skills and experience for this role:

  • Have an Engineering degree or relevant experience.
  • Have experience in a similar fast paced / high pressure industry, ideally Automotive or Formula One .
  • Capable of managing a team.
  • Good communicational and written skills.
  • Capable of handling more than one project.
  • Capable of reaching set targets within given time.
  • Good knowledge about all common computer applications.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • High patience levels.
  • Confident and highly professional.
