A prominent aerospace firm based in Shawbury is seeking a highly experienced Project & Enterprise Risk Manager to oversee their flagship helicopter service delivery contract. This strategic role focuses on maximizing fleet capability and ensuring project delivery meets stringent KPIs. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in Project Management and Enterprise Risk Management within the aerospace sector, with proficiency in tools like Oracle Primavera. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, and a master’s degree is highly desirable. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.
Air Personnel are delighted to be supporting their client based in Shawbury for the role of Project & Enterprise Risk Manager
We are looking to recruit a highly experienced, dynamic, and strategic Project & Enterprise Risk Manager to provide professional monitoring and control for our flagship, long-term helicopter service delivery contract. This role is pivotal to maximising the capability and serviceability of the fleet, contracted to provide up to 28,000 flying hours per year.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will drive the On-time, On-cost, On-quality delivery of complex projects across multiple sites to ensure critical aircraft availability and meet stringent contractual KPIs.
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is highly desirable).
You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. You are results-oriented, highly organised, meticulous in detail, and possess strong personal accountability for problem-solving and innovation. You thrive in a demanding environment, are resilient, adaptable, and excel as a collaborative team player. Proficiency in operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a bonus.
This position is primarily based at RAF Shawbury and requires routine travel to RAF Valley and Oxford.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will require a DBS check and eligibility for SC Security Clearance.
