A leading engineering company in the UK is looking for a Project Engineer to manage technical and design aspects of engineering projects. The successful candidate will coordinate project designs ensuring timely delivery and quality standards, with collaboration across stakeholders. Requires engineering qualification, experience in project design, and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. This role involves site travel within the UK and Europe and fosters a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Seize this opportunity to become part of Hitachi Energy’s Service team in the UK & Ireland. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating the design for projects delivered within Service (HV, Switchgear & Transformers), ensuring that designs are delivered on time, in line with customer requirements and to a high standard.
You will have experience and expertise of leading engineering projects, preferably within the power sector and have an open and a want to ‘get stuck in’ mindset. The position will require travel to customer sites in the UK and Europe (to attend workshops within our feeder factories).
