Project Buyer Civil

Salary: £35k to £40k

We have an exciting opportunity to work on a Large Major Civil Engineering project for a Tier 1 Contractor leading the £1.9bn project.

This construction programme started in March the latest phase of the £1bn LPT2 project which will see 32.5km of tunnel built to house electricity transmission cables 30 metres underground. The new cables will replace three circuits that currently run under the surface of roads between Wimbledon in the southwest to Crayford in the southeast.

We require an experienced Project Buyer to work across various sites from Wimbledon to Crayford to join the team for this project on a fixed term contracts until 2024

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working on large civils schemes, major projects background

To be suitable for the position you must have;

  • A proven track record of working on large civils schemes, major projects background, either within heavy civils, tunnelling, earthworks, highways or rail infrastructure.
  • Experience in the procurement of subcontract services and materials; Stakeholder/project engagement; Supplier Relationship Management.

Role Information;
