The successful candidate will manage operational and financial aspects of customer accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving growth. Candidates should have a proven track record in Programme Management within an Aerospace manufacturing environment. This role offers a salary between £55,000 and £62,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Overview

This thriving South Wales manufacturer is looking to further strengthen its existing Programme / Project function following the acquisition of a number of lucrative new contracts.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from enquiry stage to manufacturing, ensuring handover to the customer on time and to budget.
  • Oversee all operational and financial aspects of designated customer accounts, including costs, pricing, profitability, working capital and customer service.
  • Lead the team to foster exceptional customer service and drive short‑term wins and long‑term growth opportunities.
  • Support the maintenance of high levels of gross margin and operating profit, prioritising financial stability and growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer operational relationships, focusing on satisfaction, resolving issues and maintaining escalations effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in Programme Management in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Experience overseeing operational and financial aspects of customer accounts – costs, pricing, profitability, delivering products from enquiry to handover.
  • Experience of Trade Compliance sales (export control).
