A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a QI Programme Support Officer to assist in delivering strategic objectives within the Quality Improvement department. This role involves project management support, event logistics, and operational assistance. The ideal candidate will contribute to the mission of improving community health outcomes while enjoying flexible work options.
The East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) strategy is to improve the lives of all we serve through improving population health outcomes, staff and service user experience and offering the best value for the community. The primary purpose of the Quality Improvement (QI) department is to nurture an improvement culture that involves everyone to achieve this mission. The QI Programme Support Officer will have a pivotal role within the QI department, involving planning, co-ordination and delivery of the department's strategic objectives, activities and projects. This will include clerical or administrative support, developing and implementing processes, delivering learning and engagement events, and providing essential programme support across the QI Department.
Quality Improvement is a key part of our work to improve our services and refine how we do things. We have a global reputation for our quality improvement work and we continue to develop. We launched our Five Year Strategy in April 2018, identifying four strategic outcomes: population health outcomes, experience of care, staff experience and value. This aligns with the NHS Long Term Strategy and guides our direction of travel.
We provide a wide range of community health and mental health services to various groups across London and surrounding areas, including inpatient and community settings. Integrated care is key to making the best use of resources and delivering effective care.
We were rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC in 2016 and 2018, and continue to be rated Outstanding in 2021. We were named in the HSJ's Top 10 best places to work in healthcare and were voted Provider Trust of the Year in 2018. We are committed to being a diverse organisation and welcome staff with lived experience of health difficulties to contribute to delivering high standards of care.
As a flexible working friendly organisation, we will consider flexible arrangements such as job share or part-time work. The Trust may offer relocation support up to £10,000 for removal and associated expenses (subject to terms and conditions).
Our mission is to make a positive difference to people\'s lives by improving quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive. We look for people who live these qualities when supporting service users, carers and colleagues.
