Programme Assistant (Temp)

Start: ASAP

£15-£20 per hour

Full-time, until the end of December 2025

3 days in office / 2 days remote

We are working with a highly respected organisation that supports innovation and entrepreneurship through a range of programmes, events, and initiatives. Their team has an urgent requirement for a Programme Assistant to provide essential operational and administrative support during a busy period.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and proven administrative or events experience to join a fast-paced, collaborative team and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide calendar and diary management support, including scheduling meetings, managing bulk invitations, and coordinating changes.
  • Assist with email communications at scale, including sending updates to programme applicants using templates and mail merge tools.
  • Support with applicant tracking during programme callouts.
  • Manage data entry and organisation, including uploading and maintaining information in Excel and Airtable (training provided if needed).
  • Help coordinate logistics for programme launch events, including scheduling, communications, and on-the-day support.
  • Work closely with team members to provide general operational and administrative support.
About You
  • Experience in events administration.
  • Proven experience managing complex tasks and competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Airtable (or similar systems) desirable but not essential
