Hours of Work: 07:00 - 17:00, Monday to Thursday, temporary (fixed term contract with potential to become permanent)

The Role

As a Production Technician, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities that play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations. You will be involved in the assembly and testing of electrical and computer-based components, maintaining precise records, and effectively communicating any technical issues. You will work meticulously on mechanical assembly and ensure that all processes align with high-quality standards. Your attention to detail will be paramount as you help uphold the customer-centric ethos of our business. Moreover, you'll collaborate with an enthusiastic team, performing various duties in different areas as directed by the business.

What We Are Looking For From You

• Understanding of computer hardware components.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications.
• A high level of manual dexterity required.
• Must be reasonably fit and able, as the role may involve a physical element.

Useful Additional Experience

• Experience of cable assembly, harnessing, and looms.
• Soldering experience to J-STD level.
• Awareness or certification in IPC standards IPC-610 and IPC-620.
• Good understanding of mechanical assembly and standards.
