Overview

Position : Production Technician

Location : Sheffield

Sector : Engineering, manufacturing

Salary : 28,000-35,000 according to experience

Hours : Days only. 4 day week. 38 hours

Responsibilities
  • Mechanical assembly following engineering drawings
  • Using basic hand tools
  • Basic soldering and welding beneficial
  • Installing and wiring electrical components/panels from basic electrical schematics
  • Basic electrical test and inspection abilities preferred
About you
  • Good skill base in mechanical Assembly/fitting
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Previous machining processes and skill in performing machining operations such as drilling, milling, and turning would be a distinct advantage but not essential
  • Previous experience in Panel Wiring would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Own transport due to site location having poor public transport
