Our client, based near Bridlington, is expanding production within their busy FMCG operation and is seeking experienced Team Leaders/Production Supervisors to play a key role in supporting and driving day-to-day production activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership and accountability for all aspects of performance, safety, hygiene, and quality within the production department.
  • Maintain and support all aspects of hygiene standards and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure output targets are met.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production operatives across shifts.
  • Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality issues.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Train new staff and conduct performance evaluations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven production experience at a supervisory level within a busy consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical and operational standards within manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.
  • High awareness and commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach in a fast-paced production setting.

Benefits, working hours and Pay

  • 4 on 4 off (days and nights available)
  • Only work less than half the year (182 days)
  • Overtime readily available
  • £36k to £40k Basic salary
  • 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am
