Job Purpose :

Production Supervisor controls shop floor manufacturing of products by supervising staff; organising and monitoring work flow.

Hours : 6am - 2pm

Duties / Areas of Responsibility

Key skills :

  • Direct and manage the Line Leaders & General Assembly Line workers to complete tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead, co‑ordinate and sign‑off line setup and paperwork an efficient and effective manner on a daily basis.
  • Identify production line issues quickly and find ways to resolve them so that deadlines are still met without compromising quality with the support of the Team; Operational Staff; Line Leaders / Setters, Technical & Engineers.
  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between department...
