Job description
Overview

Our Client - One Good Thing

At OGT, we're not just making snacks, we're revolutionising how people fuel. We created the world's first wrapper-free, oat-based energy bar: no plastic, no waste, just real ingredients with a natural edible coating. Cleaner, smarter, high-performance nutrition that's better for people and the planet.

Now, we need a Production Supervisor who can keep our lines moving, our standards sky-high, and our people motivated.

Why OGT?

Because we're doing something that matters. We're not just another food factory, we're a business on a mission to make performance nutrition cleaner, smarter, and better for the planet.

As Production Supervisor, you'll be right at the centre of that mission.

Responsibilities
  • Lead & inspire the team: Coach, motivate, and build a culture where people take pride in their work.
  • Own the production shift: Plan, allocate, and oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Drive performance: Keep output on track, optimise processes, and solve problems on the spot.
  • Quality first: Ensure food safety, hygiene, and product standards are non-negotiable.
  • Safety always: Champion a culture of safety and compliance across every shift.
  • Continuous improvement: Spot opportunities, make changes, and keep raising the bar.
  • Be hands-on: Step in, support, and lead by example when it matters most.
Success Indicators
  • Production lines run smoothly, safely, efficiently, shift after shift.
  • Teams are motivated, engaged, and proud of what they produce.
  • Zero compromise on quality or food safety.
  • Output targets hit consistently without cutting corners.
  • Continuous improvements that save time, reduce waste, and boost performance.
  • You’ve become the person people turn to when something needs to get done.
Qualifications
  • Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proven leader: you know how to get the best from a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
  • Hands-on problem solver who thrives in fast-moving environments.
  • Sharp eye for detail.
  • A communicator who can rally a team and keep everyone aligned.
  • Comfortable making decisions quickly and owning them.
Nice to Have
  • Led shifts or teams in a BRC or SALSA-accredited food site.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
  • Worked in snacking, bakery, or bar manufacturing.
  • Ideas on how to bring innovation to production, not just keep it ticking.
