Next Generation is pleased to have been appointed to recruit a Production Engineer for a well-established engineering company near Willenhall. The Production Engineer will be responsible for processing and planning orders for machined components.

Working Hours for the Production Engineer

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Duties of the Production Engineer
  • Monitor internal capability and capacity to ensure customer delivery expectations are met. Liaise with shop floor team leaders for complex parts.
  • Maximize profitability by reviewing sales estimates, improving routing and raw material selection, and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain professional and friendly relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Liaise with other departments to expedite workflow and resolve quality and logistical issues.
Candidate Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience as a Production Engineer (Essential)
  • Experience working within a machining environment (Essential)
  • Experience in a fasteners environment (Desirable)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Essential)
