A leading aerospace recruitment firm is seeking a Production Planner in Farnborough. This 8-month contract role requires managing schedules, inventory, and production efficiency in an aerospace environment. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and knowledge of MRP and aerospace standards. The position demands proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. This role is onsite 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and adjust production schedules using ERP systems.
  • Track inventory and manage materials for timely procurement.
  • Generate reports and monitor KPIs for production needs.
  • Liaise with engineering and quality teams for smooth operations.
  • Recommend process enhancements and support lean initiatives.

Role Overview

Certain Advantage is seeking a Production Planner to manage scheduling, inventory, and production efficiency in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Maintain and adjust production schedules using ERP systems to meet customer demand and optimize resource use.
  • Inventory Management: Track inventory, manage materials, and ensure timely procurement via D365 MRP.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate reports, monitor KPIs, and forecast production needs.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with engineering, procurement, quality teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements, support lean initiatives, and optimize efficiency.
