Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deburr components using appropriate tooling and methods ready for next stage processing.
• Carry out manual and mechanical surface preparing operations.
• Carry out cleaning operations e.g. degreasing of components.
• Identify and repair possible defects.
• Control and complete all relevant documentation and ensure traceability is maintained.
• Ensure components are processed in accordance to demand and within defined timescales.
• Maintain control and traceability and functionality of tooling.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times in order to ensure safety standards are met.
• Observe COSHH regulations and company procedures at all times to maintain safety levels.
• Carry out any other reasonable task as may be requested from time to time to support the function of the department.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Reasonable general education with an aptitude for maths is an advantage.
