Responsibilities

  • Organising workloads to ensure the Kanban systems are adhered to.
  • Loading and unloading of Ebner furnaces.
  • Understanding functionality & monitoring of Ebner heat treatment cycles.
  • Final product testing (visual, mechanical & metallographic testing).
  • Management of samples and reject material.
  • Processing material through oil dipping.
  • Packaging of finished goods.

Skills

Mechanical & metallographic testing
FLT licence
Overhead crane operating experience
I.T literate (Microsoft Office)
Knowledge and experience of Ebner programmes
Efficient / Lean working (e.g. Kanban way of working)
Good communication
Eager and willingness to learn
Reliability
Previous SAP experience
