Production & Assembly Operative – Metal Fabrication

Immediate Start | Ongoing Work

Location: Atherstone / Twycross
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 40 hours as standard, 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday
Contract: Temp-to-Perm / Ongoing

In the Role

Our client, a well‑established metal fabrication company, is currently recruiting Production & Assembly Operatives to support increased workload. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Duties Include:
  • Assembly of metal components and fabricated parts
  • Use of hand tools and basic power tools
  • Working from job sheets and basic engineering drawings
  • Quality checking finished products
  • General production and workshop duties
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in production, assembly, or metal fabrication (advantageous but not essential)
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlinesReliable, punctual, and team-focused
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • General warehouse experience and Fork lift licence would be beneficial, although this is not essential.
