Overview

Production Operative
Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary
Shift Patterns: Day and Night shifts available (with overtime as needed) 6am - 3pm and 3pm - midnight (rotating shift pattern)
Pay Rate: 12.57 per hours for Production Operatives and 13.62ph per hour with a FLT license

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you\'ll be a key player on our assembly line, ensuring that wheels and tyres are assembled to the highest standards. You\'ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where precision, safety, and efficiency are paramount.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble tyre and wheel components according to work instructions
  • Conduct visual inspections of rims, tyres, and valves
  • Perform basic quality checks and testing procedures
  • Operate hand tools and production machinery safely
  • Monitor the production process and report any issues to supervisors
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
  • Crosstrain across various positions on the assembly line
  • Complete cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Screw on RDC valves and manually assemble weights
  • Ensure only faultless wheels are stored and shipped
Requirements
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physically fit - able to lift to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime, including weekends
