Overview

Production Operative (temp to perm)

Location: Stowmarket (Onsite)

Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)

Salary: GBP12.21/hr reviewed after 6 months

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a temp to Perm Production Operative to join a growing medical capital equipment company based in Stowmarket. This hands-on role is central to ensuring the highest levels of quality and reliability across our products.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assembling equipment to specification, supporting quality assurance processes, and maintaining a safe and organised working environment. With opportunities for cross-training in other departments such as upholstery and packing, this role offers excellent development prospects within a supportive and expanding business.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble products according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health and safety policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to achieving production targets.
Qualifications
