Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring smooth workflow, and adhering to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in manufacturing processes and hands-on technical work to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties
  • Operating the cutting table, storage racks and hand cut table to allow a steady flow of float for the lines.
  • Ensure mobile racks have a ready supply of Clear and Softcoat loaded to allow an expedient transition from cutting to breaking-out.
  • Safe operation of automated cutting table, ensuring all pre-use checks have been carried out.
  • An ability to cut shapes and patterns by hand.
  • Using the gantry crane to transfer float from storage racks to cutting areas, and to unload floatliner deliveries.
  • Other tasks may include loading and unloading, taping and inspection, and assembly of spacer bars
Requirements
  • Proficient in the use of machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Previous experience in material prepping, fabrication and assembly.

Hours

9.45pm - 6.00am, Sunday to Thursday
