Job description

Job Title: HSSU Production Area Supervisor

To be responsible for the management of the HSSU Production Area, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to meet Customer requirements.

Being highly driven and customer-oriented, you will motivate and supervise the HSSU Team, organize their scheduling/rotas to ensure adequate staffing, and perform Performance Development Reviews.

Liaising with staff including HSSU Unit & Production Managers, Operational Support Managers, Departmental Engineers, the Compliance/Quality Manager, and Theatre Teams to ensure excellent communication with internal and external customers. This includes liaising with service users appropriately and conducting user group meetings.

You will model and foster best practices, training, and development through active participation in production areas and clean rooms, including detailed knowledge of unit machinery, IT systems, and error rectification.

Requirements:

1. 5 years of relevant experience in a recognized sterile services production unit, including at least 2 years in a team leader/supervisory role.
2. In-depth knowledge of decontamination procedures and Traceability Systems.
3. Leadership skills and people management experience.
4. Ability to engage and communicate effectively with customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Audit Systems.
2. Experience in Endoscopy Processing services.
3. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
