Looking for a role where no two days are the same? Where you can lead a talented team in a business that’s already thriving — and still growing?

This well-established manufacturer near Exeter is going from strength to strength. With a loyal customer base, a great reputation, and a close-knit team, they’re now looking for a Production Manager who can keep things running smoothly while helping shape the next stage of their success story.

What makes this role different
  • A winning team: You’ll be joining an experienced, motivated group who genuinely enjoy working together.
  • Plenty of variety: From supporting NPD runs to improving efficiencies on existing lines, no two days look alike.
  • Work-life balance: Monday to Friday role, no weekend work, and no shifts.
  • A stable, successful business: Already well-respected in the market, with ongoing investment in people and factory.
What you’ll be doing
  • Leading and inspiring production teams, ensuring output, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Working with colleagues across Technical, Engineering, and Planning to deliver on time, in full.
  • Spotting opportunities to make processes slicker, smarter, and safer — with Kaizen/CI experience a real advantage.
  • Keeping a keen eye on KPIs around yield, waste, and efficiency — and celebrating wins with the team.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in food, drink, or FMCG production management.
  • A people-first approach to leadership, with a track record of getting the best from your team.
  • Strong H&S and compliance knowledge (HACCP, BRCGS).
  • A continuous improvement mindset — Kaizen, Lean, or similar would be an advantage.
  • Resilience, positivity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Why join
  • A successful business with a great reputation.
  • A team that works hard, supports each other, and enjoys what they do.
  • The freedom to shape your role and make a visible impact.
  • Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to develop.
  • No weekends, no shifts — your evenings and weekends are your own.
