  • 38hr contract permanent. 9.5hrs per day (30mins unpaid break)
  • Monday to Thursday 5am to 3pm
  • Salary up to £16.84ph / £33,275 DOE

The company

An established manufacturer of MDF products, are looking to recruit an experienced production Line Leader.

Position Summary

As Line Leader you will be responsible for the running of production lines ensuring manning is at correct level and daily and weekly targets are met.

The job
  • Ensure each production line is meeting daily/weekly targets are met.
  • Ensure breakdowns are reported to maintenance.
  • Ensure quality of products meets customer expectations.
  • Ensuring of compliance to company H&S polices / procedures
  • Working with the rest of the team on aiming for zero accidents
  • Have an involvement and input into capital investments.
  • Ensure daily/weekly PPM is completed.
About you
  • Must have previous team leader experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Weinig Powermat and/or Hydromat experience ideally (however other machine setting experience will be considered)
  • You will be able to motivate your team and motivate success
  • Ensure effective communication with the maintenance team
  • You will be able to provide cover in the tool room if required

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills who can lead and motivate the production teams whilst ensuring targets and performance levels are met.
