Job description
Overview

Location: Denham

Salary: £40,000 - £43,000

We're working with a leading manufacturer in the aerospace sector who are seeking a Production Expeditor to join their team at their Denham facility.

In this role, you'll act as the first line of support on the shop floor — ensuring that production runs smoothly, bottlenecks are quickly resolved, and delays are kept to an absolute minimum. It's a hands-on, fast-paced position where you'll be directly involved in problem solving, coordinating across departments, and keeping manufacturing flowing to schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve production stoppages, carrying out quick fixes where possible.
  • Liaise with Production Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams when deeper investigation is needed.
  • Check stock, repick parts, and deliver them to the shop floor to keep production moving.
  • Update SAP with job status, on-hold codes, and production planning adjustments.
  • Ensure tooling and materials are available at point of use.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
What we\'re looking for
  • Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the drive to keep production on track.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with operators, engineers, planners, and quality teams.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous, but training can be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of production, keeping things moving, and working across multiple teams to solve problems quickly and effectively.

If you have a background in production support, expediting, or manufacturing coordination, and are looking for a new challenge with a world-class manufacturer, we\'d like to hear from you.
