A leading printing and packaging solutions company is looking to expand its team through the appointment of a Production Planner who will have a complete overview of the demand and priorities to fulfil in the given areas/production sites.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Production Manager and production staff.
• Process customer orders regarding specification, production methods, artwork requirements, production scheduling and pricing for future work and work in progress.
• Assist in the delivery process, obtaining delivery information and instructions from the customer, and liaise with dispatch by providing a daily delivery requirement list for outwork.
• Act as the link between sales, production, design and logistics to ensure clear, concise communication.
• Maximise production efficiency and ensure all customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Organised individual, able to quickly understand detailed instructions and relay this information clearly.
• Proactive and prepared to challenge information that does not meet customers’ requirements.
• Strong communication skills essential.
• Successful proven track record in a similar role.
