About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing global media brand founded by a well-known media personality, is looking for a Production and Chief Sub-Editor to join their editorial team. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and editorial quality across all content outputs.

You will manage the full production cycle, enforce deadlines, and act as the final quality-control check for all editorial content. This is an opportunity to shape processes and maintain the highest standards in a creative, agile environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee editorial production workflow for website, newsletters, and Book Club content.
  • Manage production budgets for copy, imagery, and design.
  • Sub-edit, proofread, and fact-check all content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Build and publish articles via CMS, applying SEO best practices.
  • Maintain and evolve editorial style guides.
  • Coordinate with design and technical teams, escalating CMS requirements when needed.
  • Manage freelance sub-editors for peak periods and special projects.
