We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of our INS-based positioning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology or engineering fields, with a proven track record of managing products from conception to launch. Experience in mapping or survey industries is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their needs, gather valuable insights, and leverage existing technologies to expand into new markets. They will also be responsible for developing innovative visions for new products that align with company strategy, customer requirements and market opportunities, ensuring that product concepts are both customer-centric and commercially viable. A strong skill set in customer engagement, technical consultation, and strategic product planning is essential to drive product adoption and innovation. Product managers have a key role bridging between multiple groups in the business including our engineering, sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product visions, strategy, and roadmap for positioning systems in new markets
- Develop compelling visions for new products, ensuring they meet market and customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure product success
- Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and foster long-term relationships
- Identify opportunities to leverage existing technologies into new markets through customer insights and market trends
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify features and improvements
- Prioritise product features and manage the product lifecycle
- Coordinate with R&D team to adopt innovative solutions and new technical capabilities into future roadmaps
- Assist in technical discussions and provide insights to technical teams
- Support sales and marketing efforts with technical expertise and product positioning
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A degree (MSc. Preferred) in Engineer, Computer Science of closely related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager with a track record of defining and delivering innovative product visions.
- Strong ability to identify customer needs and translate them into compelling product strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience engaging directly with customers, end-users, and stakeholders to capture requirements and shape product direction.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products into emerging or adjacent markets.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to balance market opportunity, customer insight, and technical feasibility to drive business growth.
Desirable
- Background in technology domains such as INS, GNSS, navigation systems, or other advanced hardware/software solutions.
- Experience working closely with marketing teams to create and deliver successful product launches.
- Proven ability to roadmap products through their entire lifecycle, from concept through to sustainment and retirement.
