Overview

Join us as a Product Governance Analyst. We're seeking a critical thinker to assist with managing and enhancing the governance of product and journey development within C&I Ringfenced Bank.

Within this specialist capacity, you'll make a vital contribution to driving a generative culture of risk awareness, providing governance advice to the business and strengthening the level of ownership within the business.

What you\'ll do

We\'ll look to you to deliver a robust product risk governance framework in line with the operational risk handbook and conduct and compliance handbook. You\'ll also support relevant specialist risk activity, to build credible and realistic enhancement plans to move and operate a robust control environment.

  • Chairing product development meetings, assessing risk, and obtaining buy-in from senior stakeholders
  • Investigating queries accurately and raising with the relevant parties without delay and escalating where needed
  • Making sure that processes are performed accurately, following approved procedures, and within agreed timescales
  • Providing a clear understanding of customer and stakeholder needs to deliver the most appropriate and fit-for-purpose solution
  • Sugesting areas of customer or business focused improvement
The skills you\'ll need

To be successful in this role you\'ll need an understanding of risk and control assessment, as well as good communication skills, particularly in relation to verbal communication and summarising documents. Communicating policy and framework guidance clearly, simply, and accurately is essential.

On top of this, you\'ll bring:

  • An awareness of changes in trends, policies and regulations relating to the business

  • A thorough understanding of products, processes, and banking systems
