Job summary

What's the role?

The role is a full‑time position based within the North East of England. Part‑time applications will be considered.

Successful applicants must travel regularly to clients’ premises in the North East and work onsite with educational clients to deliver a comprehensive procurement and tendering service. Travel to other locations may be required.

As part of Crescent Managed Services, you will lead procurement processes for a range of categories, including facilities, estates, finance, curriculum and ICT, and other projects and services. You will embed best practice, ensure compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation, and help achieve cost savings.

You will report to the Procurement Manager and provide proactive procurement advice to all levels of personnel, managing relationships between clients and suppliers.

Person Specification
  • Procurement experience in the public sector or education sector.
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Act 2023.
  • Experience of public sector tendering and travel to client sites.
  • Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude.
