Procurement Officer – Maidstone – Up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

We are recruiting for a detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join a market-leading organisation that provides critical safety solutions across multiple industries. Based in Maidstone (Dartford initially) and offering a salary of up to £35,000, this is a superb opportunity to join a growing and collaborative supply chain team in a permanent, office-based role. You’ll be responsible for managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and reporting, while taking ownership of a key product line. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in purchasing/procurement/buying.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage daily purchasing requisitions and ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods.
  • Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Maintain accurate system records, including open receipts and stock levels.
  • Lead the procurement and supply chain processes for a core product, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Create and analyse reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
What Experience is Required
  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role and supplier management.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills with experience creating and interpreting reports.
  • Knowledge of Syrinx or other procurement software/tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Manufacturing background is desirable.
