Procurement Officer

This role would suit an individual with procurement experience within the engineering industry who is looking to join a company that operate to the highest standards whilst offering excellent employee benefits.

The Role
  • Manage end-to-end purchase requisitions for goods and services, developing and maintaining tiers of approved suppliers while identifying new sources and managing contracts. You'll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, attending monthly meetings and ensuring products are fit for purpose and reliably sourced. The position involves liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues, supporting price negotiations, monitoring vendor spend, and building strong supplier relationships.
  • You will also maintain accurate data within the management system for reporting and analysis, ensure adherence to the company and customer governance, and manage Export Control compliance in line with legal requirements.

  • Worked within procurement function within a technical / engineering / manufacturing industry
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • MCIPS (desirable, not essential)
