Procurement Manager

£36,000 to £40,000 per year + Mon‑Fri + Health and Wellbeing Programme + Life Insurance + Sick Pay + Long Term Career Stability

Are you an experienced livestock professional with strong knowledge of beef farming and the ambition to develop your career within a respected organisation in the food and agriculture sector?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established business that plays a key role in the UK agriculture and food supply chain. The organisation is known for its commitment to quality, its investment in people, and its strong, long‑standing relationships with farmers across the region.

In this role you will act as the main point of contact for livestock producers supplying the site. You will regularly visit farms, understand producer needs, identify supply opportunities, prepare delivery schedules, and keep accurate records and reports.

You will also help expand the supplier network by identifying new opportunities and building relationships with potential producers. This role suits someone who is proactive, confident in agricultural environments, and capable of working independently.

This position would suit someone with practical livestock experience, strong beef farming knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

The Role:
  • Managing and coordinating livestock supply including scheduling and reporting

  • Hands on role involving regular travel to farms across the region
The Person:
  • Qualification in agriculture or a related food discipline (or equivalent experience)
