Job Title: Procurement Manager
Salary: £45k - £55k basic (depending on experience) + benefits

Responsibilities
- Manage daily purchasing activities and establish relationships with new and existing key suppliers crucial to the company’s needs, including agreeing terms where appropriate (discount structures and volume rebates).
- Ensure all materials within the supply chain are on time and maintain accurate communication with Sales and relevant departments as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to minimise lead-time and maximise output.
- Provide a responsive and proactive knowledge base of current market and industry constraints.
- Highlight any quality failings to suppliers and manufacturers to maintain requisite performance.
- Assist with problem resolution on any supply chain related issues.
- Lead assigned projects that support supply activity and development of the procurement function.
- Prepare monthly reports on spend analysis and stock reconciliation.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a Procurement Manager role.
- Preferably in a packaging manufacturing environment; experience in similar fields will be considered.
- Solid judgment with decision making skills and strong leadership capabilities.
- Microsoft Office capability (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
