Job Title: Procurement Manager

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily purchasing activities and establish relationships with new and existing key suppliers crucial to the company’s needs, including agreeing terms where appropriate (discount structures and volume rebates).
  • Ensure all materials within the supply chain are on time and maintain accurate communication with Sales and relevant departments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to minimise lead-time and maximise output.
  • Provide a responsive and proactive knowledge base of current market and industry constraints.
  • Highlight any quality failings to suppliers and manufacturers to maintain requisite performance.
  • Assist with problem resolution on any supply chain related issues.
  • Lead assigned projects that support supply activity and development of the procurement function.
  • Prepare monthly reports on spend analysis and stock reconciliation.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in a Procurement Manager role.
  • Preferably in a packaging manufacturing environment; experience in similar fields will be considered.
  • Solid judgment with decision making skills and strong leadership capabilities.
  • Microsoft Office capability (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
