A regional charity organization in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a Procurement Administration Apprentice to join their finance function. The successful candidate will handle administrative tasks such as filing, note-taking, and meeting scheduling while pursuing a level 4 apprenticeship qualification. Ideal candidates will possess good attention to detail and communication skills, and have English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. This is a full-time role with training opportunities and various employee benefits.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Administration Apprentice within the Percy Hedley Foundation, working within our finance function. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn, with good attention to detail, organisational and communication skills. As a member of a small team, you will be expected to undertake a wide range of procurement administrative activities as you grow in the role, including maintenance of paper and electronic filing systems, note‑taking, photocopying/scanning, meeting scheduling, and other general administrative duties. You will be regularly supervised and supported to complete your level 4 apprenticeship qualification. You will spend 20% of your time undertaking a special programme of training offered by our training partner.
You will work 37 hours per week: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am to 4.00 pm Friday.
