A leading defense contractor in the UK is seeking a Process / Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes. You will ensure compliance with industry standards, specify new equipment, and coordinate project activities. The ideal candidate should have an HNC/HND in a relevant field and demonstrable experience in process engineering. Radway Green (this role is primarily on-site, with core working hours of 10am–4pm and flexibility during the rest of the week. Fridays offer an early finish)

This role is responsible for the development of manufacturing processes from concept through to commissioning and qualification. You must be able to demonstrate a proven capability in developing manufacturing processes including system integration. Specific duties will include the identification and management of process technical requirements, provision of expertise into the risk management process, provision of engineering support to the tendering process, implementation of Safe System of Work in line with Company and Statutory requirements and the technical management of the commissioning and qualification process. A good knowledge of statistical techniques for measuring process capability and maintaining process control would be an advantage, including an understanding of six-sigma and the ability to develop, establish and maintain capable production processes.
