Job summary

A Private Equity firm in London is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with advanced Excel skills to manage fund accounting and administration. The role includes analyzing financial accounts, producing reports, and coordinating new transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with offshore administrators and liaise with various stakeholders in a dynamic environment. The position offers a permanent contract with a salary range of £60,000-£70,000, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

  • Experience within Financial Services or limited partnership fund administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle accounting and administration responsibilities.
  • Analyze fund/financial accounts and produce reports.
  • Coordinate administration and transactions into the Funds.
  • Provide support for quarterly investor reports and statutory accounts.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on securitisation debt financing.
  • Calculate performance data for internal and external reporting.

Job description

A Private Equity firm based in the City of London is currently seeking an outstanding individual to join the business.

Our client deploys capital on behalf of more than 200 investors through various funds specialising in mid market transactions. They also invest in their own capital alongside third party funds.

The successful individual will report directly to the Associate Director and working in a dedicated team to the management of external limited partnership funds. They will be confident in liaising with all people at all levels across the business.

Fund Accounting Principal Accountabilities
  • Accounting and administration responsibilities
  • Analysing and interpreting fund / financial accounts to produce fund reports.
  • Co-ordinating the administration and transfer of new transactions into the Funds.
  • Additional support for day-to-day accounting, timely production of quarterly reports to investors and statutory accounts for other managed funds.
  • Assistance with the monitoring and reporting on sophisticated securitisation debt financing structure
  • Calculating of performance data (IRR calculations) for internal and external reporting purposes.
  • Working closely with off shore administrator.
  • Liaising with special purpose vehicle administrators (based in Europe).
  • Supporting the implementation of new in-house systems and procedures to ensure compliance to partnership agreements.
  • Ad hoc projects including data for the raising of new funds and the development of the third party funds management business.
  • Adhere to relevant policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management;
  • Adhere to procedures relating to proper use and care of necessary equipment.
