Our client is a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Kent with offices across the UK and a national and international reach. They have a fantastic reputation, excellent culture, and have seen significant growth over the last 5 years. They are now looking for a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join their team in a highly rewarding position, offering some of the best private client work available in the Kent region.

As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager, you will manage a portfolio of private client tax relationships and deliver technical expertise to clients directly and to internal colleagues. You will oversee the work and training of junior staff and be responsible for client relationships, new business development, and driving growth in the private client tax services within the firm.

You will handle a wide spectrum of private client tax issues, including Capital Gains tax planning, remuneration planning, Trusts/IHT, statutory residence test/residence issues, immigration/emigration issues, agricultural/landed estates, etc. You will lead and influence your team, develop client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the firm's private client offerings in Kent.

Requirements

Private Client Tax Senior Manager Canterbury £65,000-£75,000

  • ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience at a Senior Manager level within Private Client Tax.
  • Proven client management experience, with the ability to maintain high-quality client relationships.
  • Experience producing high-quality work on complex UK private client matters within budget.
  • Tax experience from a practice background, preferably within a top 100 or large independent firm.
