About the Firm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Partner to join a leading full-service law firm based in Manchester. The firm is widely recognised for delivering high-quality legal advice and maintaining a strong, client-focused ethos.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the ongoing development and leadership of the firm’s Private Client practice, working closely with fellow partners and senior colleagues across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the Private Client practice, providing an exceptional service to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
• Manage a varied and complex personal caseload covering a broad range of private client matters
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser
• Actively contribute to business development through networking, referrals, and cross‑selling opportunities across the firm
• Play a key role in setting the strategic direction and continued growth of the Private Client department
• Mentor, supervise, and develop junior lawyers and support staff
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments, including corporate, property, and family law

About You

• 5+ years PQE within Private Client law
• Currently operating at Partner level, or a Senior Associate with the ambition and capability to step into partnership
• Strong technical expertise across a wide range of private client matters
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑value client relationships independently
• Demonstrable business development experience, or a clear appetite to grow and develop a client following
• Strong leadership, people management, and mentoring skills
• Commercially minded with a genuine interest in contributing to the wider strategic direction of the firm
